IVAN trained as a trainee at a Chinese entertainment company under a systematic artist development programme, completed professional vocal, dance, and stage performance training, and participated in the Korea-China co-produced competition series 《STARLIGHT BOYS》. He has also collaborated with Sharon 林晋妤 on the original track 《也许》.
